"operation failed" on k790a

I have been searching the net for 1 week now. and they seem not to be a solution to solve that java problem. I tryed to reset all and even update new firmware from seus and it still dont work. I tryed the setool2 but it seems to have a problem with my cid 53.

All I really want is to reinstall java on my cell so I can use opera mini browser and googlemap(java version) I find it so stupid that they came up with a hot phone like that , but when java crashes not even a total reset can bring it back. I thought that stuff was imbeded in the rom so it would restore itself after a hard reset.

so how can I get back java(without sending my phone for 15 days to factory)


do I have to change the frameware. do I have to flash and how to do that?
can I then flash back to seus frameware if the other(firmwares form this site) does not work

No big deal. The issue is caused by some error in the phone's configuration. The easiest way to fix it, is REFLASHING MAIN & FS! You can find all the tutorials you may need here (on this site I think), or here.

Only SEToolBox3 supports DB2020 CID53 at the moment.

It's called "Firmware" Actually.. you don't have to change it but it's recommended to flash with the latest firm aviable.

And also JDFlasher supports it, so then there's no need for the box soft. This problem is easy to solve with JDFlasher, as it is only reflashing main & fs and customizing, though FW's are not free...

don't you need far manager to use jdflasher ? I found setool2 could not find setool3 anywawe and cannot find far manager. But I got the jdflasher file.

I got K790_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_EV_RED53.mbn as a firmware and I did not pay for it!!! unless I got it wrong and that it's not a firmware? you guys keep saying that it is an easy problem to fix but I don't know where to find the proper files to do this.

Hey!

SE Firmwares are 3 files: MAIN (That's the one you got), FS and CDA. I don't recommend CID53 because you won't ber able to patch the phone for free. SETool3Box is a paid hardware component that uses a free software but requires this box to work.
Use these:

Downloads - R8BF003_RED52 - K790_R8BF003_FS_CENT_EUROPE_RED52 - SE Users

Downloads - K790 - HB1-06_Generic_CDA102568_106_R3A_GENERIC_AMERICA_1 - SE Users

Use the CENT EUROPE FS becuase there's no AMERICA yet.
If your phone is allready CID 53 you are forced to use a CID 53 firmware, if not - use CID 52.-

I folowed the jdflasher instruction and it does not work at all
now I can't even use my fliking phone

these things are never as simple as they explain in tutorial never..... unless it'S a video tutorial than no one can go wrong!!!!
