Default New to Unlocking - Help Help Help K800i

Hello Anyone...

I have recently bought a K800i off one of my friends... and it is locked to vodaphone Ireland. I have tried unlocking it, but due to complete lack of knowledge... have no notion as to what I am doing...

I have tried SE Tool to unlock... but this does nothing... can someone help me on this please...

Best Wishes

HI, If the phone has a CID52 then you will be able to Patch Unlock the phone

Guide to inslling QAPatch with jdflasher:
http://www.seusers.com/forum/far-jdflasher-db2020-cid52-installing-quick-access-patch-76.html

Guide to Patching once QAPatch has been applied:

And you can use this program to generate an unlock patch for the phone

What if the CID is 53?

I have a k800i, R8BF003 RED53. Is it impossible to unlock?

Thanks a lot

There's no free solution for CID53 patching/unlocking yet.

Hi justme, thanks for the reply.

What does "yet" mean? Do you think there will be a solution any time soon? like in the next few weeks? Or no idea?

Can you suggest any paid solution? Is there an online service or something? It's not the ideal, but it's worst to have a phone that you can't use.

Thanks again.

SETool (not lite) will unlock CID53 phones (DB2020 at the very least)

It will most likely be a while before there is any free software to unlock CID53 phones, but you never know, there alot of very clever people intrested in modding these phones.

You can use Davinci for a single full unlock. Means you phone will not be locked again if you play around with the firmware.
